The Spinal Pain Research Group is a multi-disciplinary, multi-departmental research group at Macquarie University.
Our vision
Our vision at the Spinal Pain Research Group (SPRG) is to build a leading multidisciplinary research group known nationally and internationally for conducting high quality, clinically important research that contributes to substantially reducing the burden associated with spinal pain.
Our mission
Our mission is to conduct world class research, that is characterised by innovation and scientific rigour with a focus on problems that are important to clinicians, patients and healthcare policy makers.
We will conduct research that aims to better understand the mechanisms underpinning spinal pain, test the effectiveness of existing and novel interventions for spinal pain, and optimise the implementation of effective interventions into clinical practice.
